Always research the grooming requirements of the breed of puppy you are purchasing
You should ALWAYS brush your puppy/dog BEFORE bathing it yourself
Toenails are protein like ours and they grow regularly. They should be cut regularly as well. Can be done as often as weekly and at least should be done monthly.
A puppy that requires regular grooming should be started early so they get used to the noises and sounds and experiences of the grooming shop. Allow us to make that a positive experience right from the start. Even if you are not wanting them to get a haircut right away they can still learn the "ropes" early so they are not scared as a "teenager"
We are Laura and Thomas Dubois we moved to the Valley in 2008 when we bought Barking Beauties. Laura's dream of her own shop being fulfilled as a long term certified Master Groomer. We love living and working up here for all the obvious reasons
